Cursing Microsoft
Today I must have sworn at microsoft about 200 times (I am sure other people have sworn at them more times in a day, Even right now, my spell checker is telling me that I am spelling “microsoft” wrong because I refuse to capitalize the “M”).
Ever since microsoft sent out a security update last year that conflicted with flash player, I’ve been having to add a bunch of jibberish workaround code to avoid issues with i.e. and flash player. I cannot describe how mad I get and how much time I waste dealing with this stuff. Sure there are ways to avoid running into issues (SWF Object works great, even on other browsers and for flash replacement and Search Engine optimization) but I seem to be getting conflicting issues with all sorts of other javaScript files running with it at the same time. Why did microsoft have to make these changes? I guess it was something to do with security issues or something.
Which brings up another point. I was on a PC at the office today uploading some files and I was forced to wait while it ran a bunch of BS virus protection software in the background that tied up my processor. With my Macs I’ve never had any sort of issues with viruses or anything like that. I seem to get way more crashes on my pcs (not even with processor intensive stuff) than on my pcs.
How come spell checker won’t force me to capitalize the m in “Macintosh” like it does with microsoft which I purposefully leave lowercase out of hatred? is it because microsoft is the “Devil (*note the capital “D” in “Devil”)?
