Most people assume that the term slaughter means the animal is killed before they skinned, castrated, sliced, etc. To anyone that's ever seen footage from inside a slaughterhouse it's pretty clear that this is not the case. the animals pretty much suffer all the way through. Information and some photos from our trip out to the Big Run Wold Ranch in Lockport, a non-profit, federally licensed, educational program which specializes in education and conservation of North American wildlife. Most of the animals at the ranch have either been rescued or orphaned. Governor Quinn, Blagojevich’s long awaited replacement has reopened 7 State parks which were closed due to “budget cuts” by former governor Blagojejdick. I am pretty excited about this. As a tax payer I enjoy using the parks and was heartbroken when I heard of their closing. Now with Rod Blagojevich out of office, Our state parks which were closed stand a chance of being re-opened. Newly appointed governor Pat Quinn who led petitions to keep the parks open will look at the possibility of reopening these parks.
